FAQs – Catering
What types of catering does Knights Deli offer?
We cater for workplace lunches, meetings, family celebrations, parties and larger events. Depending on your needs, we can provide sandwiches, wraps, salads, platters, grazing boxes, roast meat rolls and other freshly prepared food.
How much notice do you need for a catering order?
Notice requirements depend on the size and type of order. As our catering is prepared fresh to order, we recommend ordering as early as possible. Larger, customised or dietary-specific orders require additional notice.
Can I order catering for a large group?
Yes. We can cater for larger groups and events. For catering for more than 60 people, please contact us directly so we can discuss your menu, quantities, timing and collection or delivery requirements.
Can you prepare a platter while I wait?
Our platters are prepared fresh and take time to create. We prefer at least four hours’ notice, but availability also depends on the size of the order, existing bookings and how busy the deli and kitchen are.
Do you have cheese platters or canapés ready to collect?
Our cheese platters, grazing products and canapés are generally made fresh to order rather than kept ready-made. Please order ahead to avoid disappointment.
How many sandwiches are included in a catering box?

Small: 5 sandwiches or 10 halves
Medium: 10 sandwiches or 20 halves
Large: 15 sandwiches or 30 halves
How much catering should I order per person?
As a general guide:
For a standard workplace lunch, allow approximately one sandwich or mini wrap per person.
For groups with larger appetites, including agricultural or trade-based workplaces, allow approximately one and a half sandwiches per person, or a sandwich and wrap combination.
For roast meat and gravy sliders or dinner rolls, allow two to three per person.
For larger roast meat and gravy rolls, allow approximately one and a half per person.
These are general estimates. The amount required will also depend on the time of day, your guests’ appetites and whether other food is being served.
Can Knights help me calculate quantities?
