Recipe: Baked Brie with Black Garlic


  • 1 x artisan campagna loaf
  • 1x wheel of brie we used shale point triple cream
  • 1 x garliclious black garlic clove
  • 1 x sprig of fresh thyme
  • Extra virgin olive oil to brush on loaf


  1. Preheat oven on 180 degrees
  2. First cut round hole in the middle of the loaf as big as the wheel, keeping the bread aside for baking for dipping, score the sides of the bread and brush with oil
  3. Cut off the rind on one flat side of the brie and score a criss cross on the surface
  4. Place brie in the hole with the cut surface facing up
  5. Slice black garlic clove thinly and place in the slits of the cheese, sprinkle with thyme
  6. Place in oven for 15-20 mins until cheese is all oozy

Serve with delicious Knights toffee apples and a extra artisan baguette!
